LADWP will construct the 99th Street Water Treatment Plant in South Los Angeles to provide chloramine treatment to the groundwater supply distributed by the 99th Street Wells Pumping Station Complex.

The Barham Mainline Improvement Project will install 2,853 feet of 20-inch mainline pipe along a section of Barham Blvd. from just south of Craig Dr. to just south of Lakeside Plaza Dr. Additional fire services will be installed.

LADWP maintains a vast water system with approximately 7,340 miles of mainlines and trunk lines, which are critical to reliably deliver high-quality water to Los Angeles residents and businesses.

The Coronado Trunk Line (CTL) Project is a water system infrastructure improvement project that will install approximately 7,400 feet of 30-inch welded steel pipe.

The Garvanza Pump Station built in 1909 is an aging water facility located in Highland Park. LADWP plans to upgrade and replace the facility in the future.

Griffith Park South Water Recycling Project

The La Mirada Ave. and Virginia Ave. Pipeline Replacement Project is a water system infrastructure improvement project that will replace 2,850 feet of pipeline along La Mirada and Virginia Ave.

As the City’s imported water supply becomes more critical, so does the need to expand our local, sustainable water resources, including water recycling.
