LADWP Employee Presentations
LADWP provides engaging, informative, and inspiring presentations tailored to the needs of students and educators. Whether you're looking to enhance your curriculum, introduce new topics, or provide your students with real-world insights, each presentation will be customized to fit the needs and interests of your students and curriculum.
Request Guidelines
- Topics cover careers, water, energy and STEM topics
- Class grades/age level: 4th grade, 9 years old
- Three weeks lead time to request a speaker
- Requesting schools or organizations should be in the LADWP service area. For presentations on careers, LADWP will participate in cities or Los Angeles county areas adjacent to the City of Los Angeles.
Wildwoods Foundation
On-campus and live-streamed presentations of “A Drop in the Bucket” by Wildwoods Foundation that include students building replicas of the Los Angeles Aqueduct and the California Aqueduct. The presentation covers local water supply as well as water conservation and energy efficiency and is recommended for grades 4 – 8.
